12 Skewers and 12 Planes Descriptions and Precedent

Each of the 12 skewers and 12 planes models contained no more than 12 skewers and 12 planes made of Bristol board.

The precedent for both of my models was Gates by Christo and Jeanne Claude in New York.

When Gates was assembled in New York they remained very linear, until the wind blew. Once the wind blew they created an even more intense piece of art with the progression of curves. So I wanted to play off of both of the extremes. One model consisted of all linear planes with no curves as opposed to the second model which has rising planes that start off very curved and progress into a stiff linear plane.
