This sculpture was modeled around the idea of evolution and creation. Believed by some, the current human form derived from an ape like life form that has steadily evolved both physically and emotionally. Toying with the idea of where the human form has evolved from makes it inevitable to think about were the human form is heading.
With the rapid growth in technology it appears that human form is steadily shaping into an emotionless technological figure. With steady advancements in insemination it is decreasing the physical interaction in the reproduction process. Drawing our minds closer to the current idea of imbedding chips into our body creates speculation on how this will affect reproduction.
Racing towards the idea of technology, is it possible that one day mankind will hold the ability simply plug up to their mate in order to procreate?
